hip pain

I pulled a stomach muscle Sunday night, i was in so much pain i went to l&d to make sure all was well it is. While i was there they checked me just incase i was in preterm labor and luckly far from but since they checked me my hips have been sore! Yesterday at my dr appt he said baby is measuring big. So can my hip pain just be my "big" baby working his way down getting ready for the big day or something i need to watch. I am 34 &4

:) the good news is I was still able to have a vaginal delivery and a few weeks after delivery my hip was totally back. So even if baby doesn't move there's hope.

It could be the baby. When my oldest son settled in (a month before delivery) he settled in wrong and stuck his shoulder in my hip socket. It hurt like crazy. I'm betting it's something like that. :)
