hypothyroidism

Did anyone have this thyroid issue prior to your pregnancy and if so were you told to continue to take your synthroid medicine i'm 5weeks today and I don't see a doctor until August 5th #newmom2be and i'm nervous about everything. Please help thanks in advance.

Yep! Stay on your meds. Your ob should continue to evaluate your levels throughout. Your dosage may change a few times. :-)

I am hypothyroid as well, definitely keep taking your medication. Keeping you regulated is crucial in your baby's development. For many women your dosage needs to be increased during pregnancy.

Have the same, and yes take your meds until the doctor tells you otherwise. I have had hypothyroidism for a long time. Your doctor will take blood for your levels and decide what to do for your situation. Good luck! :)

Hi..I also have hypothyroidism and I continued with my medicines until met vth my doc and tested for the percentages. My doc then increased my dosage as it was not sufficient.you should continue taking until or doc tells u..
