I've been induced had epidural, laughing gas, morphine. I have 5 kids all were vag. I've also went 100% drug free with three of them and I would definitely say doing it drug free without any assistance was 100% better in every way!! I will be going 100% natural with this one also :) but yes definitely do what works for you and what your comfortable with!! Good luck to you and I hope it all goes quickly and less painful as possible for everyone on here!! God bless :)

there is no reason to induce unless there's a medical reason. induced labor is unnatural. I've been through natural and induced. not even on the same scale. just my opinion. but at the end of it all it's up to you and what you feel is best for you and your baby. best of luck to you and your baby.

I agree I would not induce before due date.  Pitocin also makes contractions stronger so if you plan on a natural birth it may be a harder goal to achieve.  Sounds to me he just wanted to make sure he got you for the birth since that is where they make most the money.

I think you should wait and let the baby come when he or she is ready. Especially if its your first baby. Good luck.
