It could also be eczema, which is easily remedied with a topical cream applied twice daily

I don't know if this will work for cholestasis, but I was getting mean hives everywhere and oatmeal baths were very soothing. Itch was better after the first time. After two baths the redness and hives were almost gone and by 3 they were totally gone. I have one every few days and the hives haven't come back. Its worth a try for you. Aveeno colloidal oatmeal bath is what I used.

Same thing happened to me. I mentioned it to midwife and that the itching was worse at night. She drew blood and I had elevated liver bile acid levels. She then gave me medication that I have to take twice a day as well as herbal detox drops for the liver. The condition is obstetric cholestasis and you only get it in pregnancy.. It ***** but, goes away after. If you do have it, be prepared for pills and blood draws every 2 weeks while taking them to make sure your blood is clotting the way it should. Also, induction might happen due to high risk from the condition. just a heads up! I hope that's not what you have going on because it ***** but, I shall pray for ya and the baby!
