leg cramps

what can I do about my legs cramping up. I know it comes with pregnancy but last night it was so bad I woke up 5 dif times with cramps in one or the other leg and once it was my calf and my whole foot and I had to get up and waddle around to get it to stop then when I laid back down it started up again and the other leg was cramping up too at the same time.

I get them bad too, I've just been told to drink lots of water. Also when you stretch don't point your toes, instead  flex your toes back towards your head.

Ask your dr about a potassium supplement. That's the part of bananas that helps. I just get the bananas b/c I love them and try to get as much as I can from the foods I eat. Blueberries have potassium too if you prefer, maybe something to look at.

Eat bananas. And sleep with a pillow under your knees. I have them bad even when I'm not pregnant. This is something that helps me.
