metallic taste in my mouth??

Anyone else ever have this? Just randomly started tasting like metal in my mouth. Took drinks of water and it didn't go away. I thought it could be from bleeding gums but I checked and they're not bleeding at all. Does anyone know what this is from?

I am taking my prenantals and get lots of iron rich foods in my diet so I don't think its likely that I'm iron deficient. But idk, we'll see what Dr says. Its such an unpleasant taste! Thanks for the response ladies!  Appreciate it

Yes I did too. Started at week 5 and lasted until week 17-18. It was tough. My OB nurse said it was very common and due to overload of hormones. I was not iron deficient. When I has the taste in my mouth I would suck on a candy. Hope it goes away for you soon. Good luck!
