moving to a new house

So im pretty excited to say that my boyfriend and i just bought our first house! Now the not so fun part -- moving! We move in less than two weeks and ive been packing every night after work.  Does anyone have any friendly advice for me? Im 11 weeks.. Im not going to be physically moving anything but im still stressed. Can i help move things? Should i keep the babys room completely empty?..

Label the boxes and the rooms. Like if you have more than one bedroom label them by numbers, same thing goes for bathrooms. If at all possible put tape across the door(s) you don't want anything in. Add while you're packing the old house put sticky notes on all cabinets, drawers, closets and rooms that are completely empty. That way you're not back tracking. Good luck.

Congratulations!! Enjoy it. I would seek your doctors advice in what you can and cannot do during the move.

You are more then fine to move as long as you don't do anything you normally wouldn't have done before pregnancy. Atleast that is how it was for me. I moved at 37 weeks and everyone told me to not lift a finger. I did anyways because I wanted it done before my baby girl got here. You just have to know your body and what it can handle. Congratulations!

Im 20 weeks today and my bf and I are waiting to close on our house. so within the next month I will be doing the same. Im so sick of moving and glad this will be my last for a very long darn time. The next time im packing it is to the hospital lol. Moving is so not fun and ive already started packing and trying to get rid of things i dont need to take with me. Oh then to pack my bf, ug idk where to start with his stuff.

We bought a house 2 months ago. Definitely label everything. It makes it so much easier to unpack because you know where it belongs. Also, try to go one room at a time. It's less stressful. Don't over do it...make sure you have time to relax a little in between rooms. Congrats!

Keep the baby's room empty. Make sure everyone knows. I tried but no one listened to me. So it got full of stuff and I'm in the process of moving it all out. But lable.

Label everything!  That way when it comes time to unpack it will be so much easier!  I made the mistake of not labeling boxes very well and it took so much longer to get everything rearranged!  :) congratulations on your new house

Comgrays! You can still help move lightweight things, just nothing heavy like furniture, you don't want to injure yourself.
