mucus plug

How do you know when you have lost your mucus plug?

I was going down the road and felt the urge I had to pee and it felt wet down there so I got a napkin and wiped and it filled the whil napkin it was white creamy thickish discharge was that my mucus plug ?

When I lost my plug it was a mucousy glob, kinda like snot. Although mine was clearish and had no blood in it.

With my first I cannot recall loosing mine
But with this pregnancy I've been loosing it for the last week
At first it was a clear slimy stringy looking thing and I've been spotting for 4 days and today I believe I lost the rest of it
This time it was slimy stringy as well but it was brown (tinted with dried blood)... I know it sounds gross lol sorry if tmi
I am 38w 4d and I'm so ready to hold my baby girl already
Hopefully labor starts soon :))

I just recently lost mine. At 38 weeks. But it can happen sooner then that or later, or even while in labor. I went to go pee, & noticed a thick gooey creamish colored blob with brownish blood in it. It was in my panties. You can google mucus plug & click on the images. There's a ton of pictures of what it looks like.

U ll have thick white discharge with blood on it.
