For those who have had children how long after you lost your mucus plug did you go into labor?  I lost mine this morning I'm only 33 weeks. I'm a ftm and a bit nervous.  I'm not cramping/contracting but had a restless night and have felt round ligament pain for the past two days.

^^ very good description of round ligament pain. But my pain is constant for hours a warm bath, warm tea, or a heating pad helps a bit.

my mucus plug looked like...A very large amount of thick, slimy, greenish, snot.  It didn't smell or anything it was just nasty.

To answer the what does round ligament pain feel like..to me it feels like a Charlie horse in the gut! Pretty strong cramp in the lower abdomen. I get it when getting up, coughing, and sometimes while not doing anything.

With my first I lost it around 34-35 weeks and I was induced at 39 weeks and ended up having to have a c - section

I never lost mine with my 1st. I have been loosing mine for the past 3 days at 38weeks. Still haven't gone into labor yet. The mucous plug looks like a snotty discharge.

I lost mine at the same time my water broke... but, it is common to lose it earlier.... it can replenish itself- so losing it is not a good indicator that labor will start soon

I lost mine a week before I went in for a scheduled c section. I had complications that reqd the section. Had I not had the c section im almost positive I would of had my son the same day or the next after the c section was scheduled. The same morning I went in I started having strong contractions.

The plug is clear to pinkish and is gel like. At least thats how mine looked. It was really weird and came out when I was using the bathroom one day.

What does the mucas plug look like and what does round ligament pain feel like? Just wondering I'm 27 weeks and I just started noticing some clear looking discharge

I lost mine at 26weeks but my doc said my body would create a new one if it wasnt time yet. I tuen lost it again about 4hours before my water broke.

I lost mine at 32 weeks and my water broke at 33 weeks. Have you talked to your Dr? I also was dilated to one cm the day I lost my plug. So I was ordered to he'd rest.

Okay good to here.  I would like baby to stay in as long as she needs. I was just concerned because I am only 33 weeks

I lost mines at 39 weeks and I still had to be induced at 41 weeks

I was 36 weeks when I lost mine with my first and 5 hours later my water broke.

I Lost Mine Only An Hour Or So Before My Water Broke With My First. My Sis Lost Hers A Few Weeks Before. Don't Stress.

Don't stress too much about it. You can lose it up to 8 weeks before you give birth! I lost mine only right before my water broke but my sister lost hers at 34 weeks and didn't have her baby until 40weeks.
