Sea bands are little elastic type wrist bands with a little ball that sits on ur pressure points. Go to the chemist and ask someone there, they will b able to help

I was able to "get aheady" of my nausea by drinking a glass if water as soon as I got up & eating something small right away (think crackers or a granola bar). Good luck!

The only thing that helped me during my second pregnancy was lemonade. Sipping on that helped. This pregnancy it's off and on nausea and I just take half a phenergan at bedtime if it's bad enough.

I had to do zofran 8mg every 4 hours eventually gave into the suppositories of promethethizine every four hours when zofran just wouldn't help anymore. I had severe sickness for 7 months with my 4th daughter and with this preganacy I was sick for three weeks straight. I feel your pain.

I usually take sips of apple juice,  and suck on hard candy.  The saltine crackers work too. I wore the sea bands for while,  but didn't always work. Yes it's hard and *****   . I have a 3yr old and i was so sick till my 20th wk, i still get my dizzy spells.  I would watch what i ate or drink bc that can trigger vomit. In morning couldn't drink or eat any dairy products or soups , i would puke. My prenatal pills got me sick every time eat them in morning. I switch hour and after meals took them. Sprite helps with everything too if you can't handle ginder ale

I tried sea bands...with no luck. I went on zofran. I would love not to take it, but I really can't keep food or water down without it. Plus my 3 and 1 year old are active....lol
I thought about trying essential oils...peppermint or ginger... there are others too I think. But my insurance covers the zofran not essential oils. So I had to try the cheaper option and I knew zofran works for me from previous pregnancies. Hope you find something that works for you!

Ginger makes me sick at the best of times, can't stand the taste of it.
I'm going to try the mint tea now so hopefully I can get some sleep before work tomorrow, thank you ladies! I'll look in to your other suggestions tomorrow :)

I am on zofran and its wonderful, I also use preggo pop drops and they help too. I've heard ginger and mint can do some real wonders as well. Also as a couple of other ladies have mentioned, eat small snacks, don't let your stomach get empty. I hope you feel better soon, I know I was miserable before the zofran!

Mint tea and peppermints. Seriously saved my life during this pregnancy. Mint has been used thru the ages to help settle indigestion and upset tummies :)

I find Powerade or Gatorade helps a little.

Mummainoz - I was on tablets for a while (apo-metoclopramide) but my doctor won't give me any more because they can be risky to bubs. But I'm pretty sure me constantly being sick is worse! I've lost almost 17kg since I found out I was pregnant. :/

Catherinek333- what are sea bands? I've tried dry biscuits and that doesn't seem to be making a difference.

Try having some dry biscuits (ginger biscuits helped me). I also used the sea bands u get from the chemist - they work wonders. Try and keep ur stomach from becoming empty. I have finally stopped feeling sick after 5 constant weeks of vomiting nearly every day. Good luck!!

I feel your pain and would love to know too! OB told me he can give me tablets but they're about $10(Aus) a tablet and you need about three a day, otherwise he said to eat lots of carbs regularly. Good luck, I hope it eases soon!
