placenta accreta
ive been diagnosed with placenta accreta I am very nervous because it can cause maternal death. I am 33 weeks now and have to give birth on march 6th at 34 weeks.im scheduled for a csection/hysterectomy. Has anyone had placenta accreta any advice and has anyone had there baby at 34 wweeks any stories..
did they know about the accreta going into the delivery?

Yes, if you delivered vaginally you would most likely bleed to death, even in a hospital.
I have an acquaintance who died, and a friend who very nearly did but they were able to do an emergency hysterectomy to save her.

I have no experience with this just wanted to say I Hope ALL is Well and at 34 weeks the baby has a Good chance of being fine with extra medical care, Pray and take it easy, Good Luck Mom...
