You definitely do unless you've been on a liquid diet or some such thing. Think of it this way: there's a baby of multiple pounds working its way out of you. There is no room for anything in the way to let baby past. If there's something in your bladder or intestines, it will be pushed out.
But don't worry, between the excitement and the tension/fear, you won't mind it for more than a few minutes and it doesn't bother your doctors in the least.

I'm pretty sure I did with my first child and the nurse quickly swapped out the pad for a new one.  They didn't skip a beat.  It definitely happens,  especially with the constipation and whatnot. Definitely nothingto worry about. You are too busy with the pain and pushing. Way more concerned with the impending birth.  You could care less,  believe me.  Coming from a mom who worried beforehand as well.

What's a little poo between loved ones? Lol I'm actually kinda nervous about that too (37 weeks here) because my husband is one of those who think ladies don't fart let alone do anything even more yucky like *gasp* poopin! I tooted in the bathroom one day and he overheard...omg you would have thought I threw a severed head at him or something from his reaction. :P The way I see it though...if guys can bring a human being into the world and do it clean and pretty by all means I'd love to hand the job over but until that day us ladies do the best we can and if they don't like it well poo on them! Literally!

I couldn't tell you whether I have or have not. With both my deliveries, I was too focused on pushing and nothing else. If I did (which is very possible) my nurse got rid of the evidence before I or my hubby even noticed, lol. They are professional like that.. No worries, you'll do fine! ;)

Almost every woman poops on the table. It is Soooo normal, if you have a good nurse.. most won't even tell you and it will be gone before you know it's there!you have a baby pushing down and out your vagina. Your vagina and bowels are practically touching with different tunnels.. so the pressure of the baby often will push out any stool That is in its way. Some woman get lucky and their bodies push everything out before.labor to prepare.. some don't. I was so worried I'd poop on the table wIth my first. But by the time it comes to that stage, pooping is the last thing that your going to be thinking.about.

With my first I did but at that time I was so exhsused I didn't care but you've got to remember that these doctors and nurses have seen everything and they ecpect that to happen.

We went to a birthing class today and she mentioned that most women cant help but poop.  It is a natural reaction because we are pushing, and that doctors and midwives don't care because they are so used to it. No big deal, you will be way to busy getting her out and hubby just needs to get over it. It is likely to happen so we might as well accept it. Besides, there are way more interesting things happening then!

I am but I figure I'll be too busy trying to get this little girl out to even care lol. At least it wouldn't be the first time they've seen it if it happens!

Lol. Just make sure he stays near ur head n holds ur hand throughout.  My hubby keeps laughing I poooped on the babys head but I didnt. Think ur bowels clear way before baby comes out. Its cause ur pushing. Plus the midwife kept saying push like ur pushing a big poo out so naturally us women open our bowels. To be honest just before u go into labour its like ur bowels kniw and u empty them loads on the day.  Luckily I stayed at home at the beginning and did a few rounds on the toilet. Sorry for the extta info. Not pleasant but fact of life and im sure the midwife said she sees it 99 percent of the time anyway. Dont stress. Just think everyone does it! Not one of the glamorous sides of labour. Wen u due? Im in five weeks hopefully.  Cant wait. Worried a little about the birth but fingers crossed our babies r healthy n happy babies. Good luck
