severe back tightening

So I'm 12 weeks as of today. The back pain started around 6-7 weeks... I work at a convenience store. Lately it seems like the back pain is tolerable until about 6-7 hours in, anything past then I'm hurting badly.

Today I worked 9 hours and could barely make it up the 2 flights of stairs to my apartment. I go see my doctor tomorrow and plan on bringing this up to her.

My question is, has anyone else ended up taking muscle relaxers or stronger pain killers than tylenol for this type of pain? How were your doctor's about taking these? I took two tylenol when I got home but 3 hours later I'm still walking around slow and hobbly like an 80 year old. I'm only 26 and early in pregnancy!

My doctor told me I didn't have to sleep on my left side. I am a back sleeper always have been and she said it doesn't hurt the baby to sleep on your back. The only position I can't sleep in is on my belly. I do use my body pillow to surround me so when I turn over I still have a pillow in between my legs.
I'm also having back pain and I will talk to my doctor next week at my apt.

I have siatic issues and arthritis in my L2-3 progressing down into my hips, i was on gabbapentin for it prior to pregnancy and stopped to try to keep as many unnatural substances as possible away from my son. Talked to the Dr and he said if the Tylenol doesn't work it is a non narcotic possibility for pain relief

I don't have a bath unfortunately. Only a stand up shower. I'll try some of the rubs. I thought they were iffy bcz of absorption.

Try a Epsom salt bath. Muscle creams are ok. Heating pads on low setting is ok.

You have to clear the pain medication with doctor.  Because it crosses the placenta and some meds are not good for baby.

P.s. I did already invest in a body pillow in order to have something between my knees while I sleep. It's hard adjusting to sleeping on my left side though.
