so nervous!

Im 24 weeks. I love reading everyones stories whether they just found out or are past their due dates. Every time i read something about labor and delivery my stomach churns and i get butterflies. I haven't thought much about the birthing process. Im so scared! Im planning to go to a class or two so i hope that'll ease my nerves..i know its natural to be nervous but what helps calm and relax your thoughts?

Research the history of child birth and maybe you can find the comfort in knowing all these women have survived it for centuries. I personally am trying the hypnobirthing  method and they have a great book that is meant to take away fear. Very helpful if your scared

I am also a ftm I am 36 weeks and 1 day the further you get the more you become ready to see your baby so I would say with time your feelings change and also once you start getting everything in place that helps.....now labor there are still concerns but what I do is tell myself many women go thru this and it is a natural pain it's not like I got hurt....and once its over I will feel better....I actually have to keep.telling myself that repeatedly ....I don't want to work myself up because I hear it makes the experience worse and I want as good of a labor experience as I can have :) the reward is at the end I get to see my son!!!
