sore and bleeding gums

I have been noticing that my gums are more sensitive and bleed easily, has that happened to anyone else? And if so what do you do about it?

You could also try peroxide and water, its a natural debridement agent, it will bubble and help the inflammation of the gums and get any food particles you may have missed brushing and flossing. You swish with one part peroxide one part water just as you would Listerine. As an added bonus it does help to whiten teeth some. It won't completely take  away the bleeding  (because you're pregnant)but try it for a week or two to see if it helpa

This happens to at least half of all pregnant woman. Happens to me every time. It is simply because your heart is pumping double time which Means the blood is flowing closer to the surface and harder. There isn't much you can do about it. Mine bleed everytime I brush them and I've been for a check up and the dentist agreed that nothing can be done. Just another fun pregnancy symptom lol. But yes rinsing with warm water can help the bleeding stop and salt can keep germs out if you are worried about that.
