tape my back?

Hi I think my doctor is stupid or something, I was explaining to her that I am having horrible back pain and asked for some ways to help with it and she told me to tape my back? I asked if she ment like get one of those belly supporters or something and she said no to go get tape and put it on my back? Have any of your doctors said that to you?

She is talking about kinesiology tape. I've been going to physical therapy for severe back pain. The tape didn't do anything for me when they taped up my back. However doing the recommended exercises on exercise ball has helped wonderfully. Haven't had back pain since I started except when I be on my feet too long.

I had my back taped wen I was younger. My posture wasn't great so I had lots of back pain n they taped it to force me to stand straight. Doubt that's exactly wat ur doc meant but yea. Deff not stupid. It's real

Kinesiology tape it works really good I use to work for a chiropractor and our patients lived this stuff

She might be referring to kinesiology tape its like flexible black tape.   You can look it up online and you can buy it at Walgreen or CVS. Also you could ask about a chiropractor, it helps me so much
