vaccines, yes or no?

I'm still on the fense with vaccines, I'm unsure if I should get my baby done or not once she is born. Did you get your baby done and what made up your decision?

Also as someone mentioned ASD (autism spectrum disorders) has now been thought to start during pregnancy, around 30 weeks gestation. This is believed to be why the cause has been so elusive.

Lol! Yes I didn't like the hep B one either! That's defs a no! Well now that I know she doesn't have to have them all I will research and decide what ones for her to get. I won't let any jerk force me into anything I don't feel is right for my baby lol :)

Hello ladies. I personally have done vaccinations for my child and will for my next. I did my thesis on vaccinations and its connection or lack there of with ASD. All research I found pointed to vaccinations being safe and the major risk being thimerosal has been taken out of all except certain flu shots. If you Google Wakefield and vaccines you will find that he somewhat started the scare and has noe been disproved and a complete fraud. I'm not telling you what to do I'm just sharing with you what a year of research, interviews and hours spentwriting has given me. Also please (and this is a general rule of thumb) do not put mmuch stock in info on websites that aren't .org, .gov or from major libraries. There is a good chance that the infor in the other sites has not been peer reviewed or anything. Hope this helps

I'm against some of them because they have found chicken pox vaccine doesn't last long..so I feel we will have lot of adults getting pox when our kids are older. Things like polio are really scary viruses..pox..to a normal child..is a common illness. We are vaccinating the whole for the immuno compromised which is a small percent of the population. I vaccinated my kids because when yougo to the appointments the drs virtually force you to get them and will not give you the option to decline easily. If you are strong in your views you can un vaccinate but if you are on the fence you will be pushed to do it. I do not think it's necessary to give a3 day old infant hep b vaccine and I do deny them of that one..I am firm with that. No reason..we do not live in a crack ***** house lol.

I have vaccinated both of my kids and have never had any problems with allergic or negative reactions. So I plan on vaccinating my third as well.

I'm a frm mom too.. I thought the same thing until my cousin told me no.. You can choice what you would like to give your baby. I asked her questions just trying to get information. She told me to do my research and have me some website and a dr name to help me. But she told me I have to make my own decision.

I've done my research and only plan on getting the shots I had when I was little that are the ones he really has to have.. Me and my bf talked about it and agreed that's what best for our baby! Now with school no you don't have to have all those shots you need a letter from either the health department or dr. If I were you I would just do your research on it and make your own decision for your baby... Everything going to have something to say about it but as long as you know this is what best for your baby then you'll be fine! Good luck

The doctor that wrote the book on not to vaccinate was proven to be a fraud, and so was his science and research. They've also proven recently that autism (the main concern nowadays) starts in the womb. Non vaccinated children are 40X more likely to contact dangerous illness too. And transfer it to other families or children that may be too young to vaccinate. Whooping cough(deadly to infants) measles, polio - those diseases are on the rise because of non vaccinated children and their families. I'm definitely vaccinating.

YoungLady, I have done a bit of research and that's what has made me question it. I'm like you, I don't think I like what I read but my partner wants her done (but he is yet to research it lol) thank you :)

It's a personal choice. I did research and vaccinated my kids. But others do research and don't. Do what you feel is best! Good luck!

Where I'm from you can get your child a note from their doctor and they can still attend daycare/school even if they didn't have their vaccines

I opted out of some vaccines. I did a lot of research. The problem is my hubby and I have completely different views on the issue. He wrks in the medical field and is a strong advocate for them. I personally disagree. I would take ur time & educate urself. Do what u believe is best for u & ur baby.
