went to hospital

I woke up around 3am this morning to to bad cramp and bleeding bright red blood. Major panic. Doctor ran all types of test ultra sound and such. I have a bad uti that I didn't know I had and that's what caused the bleeding and the untra sound confirmed that I am pregnant with TWINS!!! How's that possible when they don't run on my family nor his? So amazing! Another, how could I have not known I had a uti? Everything felt normal

The only twins that can run in a family are fraternal twins, and this is defendant on the mothers side only because its her and your genetics and cause two eggs to be released instead of the normal one. Identical twins are luck of the draw, occurring in around 3/1000 pregnancies.

Anyone can have twins, it doesn't matter if your family has them or not.
