what's everyone doing for holidays?

We have a big Christmas planned with our five girls. I am having trouble wrapping presents with my big belly. I wrap in my bed to keep the kids from seeing and my chest starts hurting from sitting up cross legged. It is the baby pressing on my lungs. It is hard being pregnant around the holidays but totally worth it.

Just wanting to know what others have planned and if they are having trouble completing the holiday tasks due to being pregnant?

I can't get help with mine because I am too picky. I like my presents to be pretty under my tree, not like they stay there long. I spend about 10-15 minutes on each present, I even wrap some of there stocking items. It is all in the same wrapping paper and has matching ribbon and bows. With five kids it takes forever, I been at it for about a week. I can only do a couple a night. I am way too fat for all this, baby is mad and not liking being squished. Plus pregnancy makes me all sleepy. I still have to make arts and crafts with the kids, which I will be doing all weekend and some of next week. Then bake cookies make gingerbread houses. It is never ending, hot chocolate has got to be made, Christmas movies to watch and Christmas dinner to be made. I can not imagine how I will stand on my feet for a whole day to make dinner. Once it is all done I will be waddling around doing Christmas cleaning. I will probably sleep for a week after, just hope all the activity don't send me into labor early. Stress builds easy with hormones.

I'm due on Christmas eve with twins and really having a hard time....I have a five year old and a two year old and we usually do a lot of fun events and crafts and I have not been able to this year. Its tough. Today we finally did pur gingerbread houses and over last weekend painted our ornaments, but that is about all I will accomplish with the kids this year. I don't think I am even going to bake cookies this year.....ugh. I have a girlfriend coming over to help wrap presents this weekend.

I live in Queensland Australia so it's hot and humid here at the moment and I completely agree! I wrap my presents on my bed too and my belly gets all squished up, baby doesn't like it lol!
