Zantac is my bff!! I don't have heart burn as much as I have reflux....but my dr says zantac is ok :-)
Im 36+6 wks milk before bed always worked for me
As stated above, peppermint works great.. BUT, if you are planning to breastfeed, I wouldn't recommend it. Peppermint could reduce milk supply... If not planning to bf, then definitely try it. Not only does it help with reflux, it also helps with the pain of not breastfeeding bc of swollen breasts and engorgment. Good luck!
Chewable cherry tums. I eat them after every meal and every snack. I go threw a bad a week. It goes away with in minutes and there not chalky
U can take tums or drink coconut water or coconut juice it helps alot!!or gavascon
I'm 24 weeks and I even get heartburn with milk, Dr suggested Tums as to be safer but I mentioned the dislike for them and all he said was to grind them and mix them with applesauce or something similar to get rid of taste. Ugh! I am really hoping someone has a better remedies.
I take Prilosec OTC. It helps me.
Doctor gave me peptac liquid. Tastes yuk but works x
I use peppermints made with real peppermint oil.
Milk, n laying on my right side also, staying away grom spicy foods
My cousin would dissolve about a tsp or so of baking soda in a small cup of water, chug, then wash down with a glass of regular water. I don't have an issue with heart burn or acid reflux during pregnancy so I haven't tried it but she swore by it her whole pregnant because it was awful for her! And she didn't want to take medicine
Vanilla Milkshakes are the only thing that help me
I use iced milk and milk ice cubes lol
I use Popsicles during the day and milk then take tums before bed
