I worked 3 sleep shifts and 36 awake hours every week until 33 weeks, im glad i stopped when i did, it was getting hard work, i guess it depends how physical the work is..
I've had to take almost 3 months off because of my early diagnosis with Hypermesis. I was extremely ill, on bed rest and IV's. So I have no choice but to work until the very end of my pregnancy.
I worked till the week beforey EED , but I'm not saying it was easy. I'm a nurse third shift. I guess it really depends on what your doing.
I worked until 36 wks w my first as a cna. Its the worst job in my opinion I hated.it so I got my.rn but I've never really went back to work ..
I stopped working at 33 weeks but only because I had a very physical job. I was a housecleaner for the rich people in the Hamptons on Long Island. There was just way too much bending and lifting and their demands were too high. With my first I was a receptionist and dental assistant and I worked until the very end.
Depends on your job, I do alot if walking and cleaning as I'm a carer n im going to 4-5 weeks before, I recon i could go longer but it wouldn't be fair on the people i care for if i can't do as much
I worked until the day before I went in labor with both my girls. I was actually supposed to work the day I went in labor with my first
38 weeks when my midwives pulled me for medical concerns - will likely make it that far again this time despite the couple of miles I walk every shift.
I was put on bedrest at 20 weeks.
I finished last week at 34 weeks :)
When I had my daughter last year, I worked up until a week before I had her, I'll probably do the same with my son this year. :)
