worried

Has anyone here heard of braxton hicks? I keep feeling this pressure down under it gets even hard sometimes and I went online and read it might be braxton hicks. My next appointment is not until 9th April.  I could speak to my doctor then.  Am currently on my 18th week in pregnancy and really worried about this.  Sometimes I feel pain under my never as well. Am curious of anyone know a thing or two about it.

Your body is just practicing. Your ok. I started having them at 18 weeks also. You get symptoms earlier if your more active

I have gotten em last and this pregnancy around 18 weeks they started definitely uncomfortable and make me hold my breath. If u rest and drink water thatll help em calm down but its just ur uterus toning up for the big event

Yeah braxton hicks are contractions, they just don't have a real affect on your cervix. They're usually not painful but can be uncomfortable for some women. Nothing to worry about tho
