yeast infection nightmare!

I am very concerned, I'm having problems getting rid of my yeast infection. My Dr continues to prescribe me the 7 day cream for it. It'll go away for that week then a week later its back! So all together I've had a yeast infection for four months now.I'm 31 weeks pregnant and just want a safe effective way to get rid of it. I've thrown my underwear away and have tried everything I can think of. It has completely ruined me and my husbands sex life. Someone plz give your advice!

Your husband might need to be checked for one too if you guys are having sex at all. I knew a couple that the woman kept getting really bad yeast infections and they finally figured out it was bc she was getting treated but he wasn't so they would have sex after she got cleared up and get it again. Once they both got treated it cleared them both up.

Try a drop of lavender oil. Just a drop on a liner or
pad. I have a friend who swears by it.

Agree with the yoghurt, it soothes and helps the infection. Also have you looked into a probiotic? It helps to balance the good vs bad bacteria in your system.

I feel your pain! I'm struggling with a yeast infection right now, and it's so uncomfortable. Are you drinking lots of water? Staying away from sugar? Sugar can actually make it worse. The above poster is correct about yogurt too. If it doesn't clear it up, it will at least help the itching. I get an empty douche bottle, fill it 1/5 or 1/4 of the way with hot water, and the rest of the way with yogurt. You might need to mix it in a measuring cup, then pour it in. Make sure you get it all over your hoo and on the inside. I like to lay back in my tub and let it sit for a bit. Good luck!

Maybe Go To Your Primary Dr Instead Of Ob For A Second Opinion. I Had 3 Bladder Infections In A Row And Then A Yeast Infection. Once I tried Some Different Meds It All Went Away.
