Breasts less tender at 10 weeks - normal?

Hi everyone! I'm kinda driving myself crazy here...but I just have to ask. Did anyone else notice their breast being less tender around 10 weeks? Mine were a lot more sore when I first got my BFP; and then around 7 or 8 weeks, they seemed very "achy" and heavy. Now at 10 weeks, they're only tender if I press on them...and just a little. They do seem bigger still, though.

I'm just nervous, because I've had two losses in the past (one spontaneous miscarriage and a missed miscarriage), so I'm scared to death of something going wrong again.

Plus, I'm on both estrogen patches and progesterone supplements, so sometimes, I wonder if I that's the only thing that's causing my symptoms, and not the pregnancy itself (I only really have tender breasts, bloating, increased appetite and a few food aversions...no m/s).

Anyway...just wondering is anyone else has noticed breast tenderness subsiding around 10 weeks or so.

I'll be 10 weeks on Sunday and have also had two previous losses. My breasts are definitely not as tenser as they have been and morning/day/noon/night sickness seems to be dissipating as well. I have very light cramping every so often and sometimes my back aches. Makes me seriously worry! But nothing else crazy or drastic that I'm noticing.

Thanks, Yvette! I really appreciate it! It's interesting how it's so different for everyone...my nipples haven't felt any different at all, just the outsides of my BBs.

Oh and believe it or not, after stopping my estrogen and most of my progesterone (I'm still taking one prometrium a day to gradually wean off), they got a little more tender again! Weird, huh? You would think it would be the opposite. They're not as sore as they were, but enough to where I can at least feel it.

Thanks again to everyone for helping me stay sane!

Thanks, Helen!  I've definitely had that paranoid feeling, too, so that does make me feel a lot better!

Hi girls! Thanks again for your reassuring words! My BBs are still not very tender, but it does fluctuate a little (tiny) bit from day to day. BUT, I had an ultrasound yesterday and everything is still looking good! I'm just soooo happy! 11 weeks, 3 days today, so almost at the 12 week mark!

I'm suppose to stop my progesterone and estrogen today...but I think I'll continue with one prometrium pill (as opposed to two plus crinone) for a couple more days, just in case.

Thanks again!

Heather

Heather - during my last pregnancy, my symptoms would come and go - made a little nuttier than I already am - LOL!

At this stage of the game, I wouldn't worry - you're doing just great - as Amanda said, as you get closer to the 2nd trimester (13 weeks), your earlier symptoms tend to go away i.e. morning sickness although not for me - i dealt w/nausea the entire time.  Oh well, all worth it! - jen

Any change in my symptoms scares me too.  As you move towards second trimester, they may stop hurting.  It may also just be temporary.  I have some days where there is hardly any tenderness, and other times where I am in total pain.  Can fluctuate throughout the day as well.  No doubt you are fine, just the hormones doing their thing!!

Thanks, girls!  It helps a lot to hear that I;m not the only one! I will try my best not to worry so much ;-)

(Oh and thanks, Kelly! Yeah, looks like I'm exactly 6 weeks behind you!)

On my 2nd pregnancy I didn't get sore bb's until 10 weeks. This, my 3rd were sore around 14 and now at 16 weeks are starting to really get sore. AND grow..... Each pregnancy is different, I'm sure you are just fine.  I think I missed your BFP? Congratulations to you!!
