Depression

Is it possible to experience post partum depression before delivering? I'm 22 weeks and I'm feeling so depressed. So many changes, a lot of stress, my fiancé and I are splitting up, money is bad since I have had to be off work with no pay, trying to make sure my oldest daughter has all she needs for her senior year, I have to be moved out of my place by May 31st and I still can't lift or twist since having abdominal surgery, I don't have an appetite, and I haven't slept well in weeks. My body still hasn't fully recovered after surgery. My fiancé ex wife has been harassing me. I could scream. I am really depressed. I feel like I'm all alone. Its just too much to handle.

I'm 15 weeks and have been feeling depressed since getting pregnant; with bouts of uncontrollable crying and complete despair. I also have problems with my partner's ex-wife and because of her crazy behavior cannot move in with him until after July, so our future is completely up in the air. I wondered about taking St John's Wort but advice seems to be to avoid. It's so hard to deal with everything but I am finding that yoga and mindfulness help help somewhat to calm my mind.

Talk to your Dr about being depressed as most woman experience depression and can suffer after baby is born. I've been going to counseling to deal with my depression and it is helping. Also have your daughter help too.

I'm sorry your going through such a hard time right now. Things will get better and I'm wishing you the best of luck. If you have friends that could help to take some stress off your shoulders. As for the ex wife thing, change your number! My husband ex wife was constantly blowing up my phone and I put my foot down and told my husband that he is dealing with her from now on and changed my number. Or you can block her, There is no reason for her to be contacting you.
