Early Labor symptoms.. other than perfectly timed contractions??

I feel silly asking - as this is my third baby... but the first was not a normal pregnancy - 19 weeks I went into preterm labor and I made it to 32 weeks by way of bed rest at the hosptial - I contracted without pain.. and some with pain - dialated and effaced without pain... so I never really was in labor - it was preterm then c-section... second I had no dialation contracted often but nothing too severe... no cramps, just a scheduled c-section...  This one I feel icky.  I am 32 weeks - at 25 weeks I was 2cm dialated with some contractions and discomfort - mainly because I tore 3 of the 4 incision points of my cervical stitch... which created red blood which sent me to L & D.  But the last couple of days I feel plain icky.  I cleaned like a freak all weekend - scrubbing floors with a toothbrush.. assembled the crib - washed all her stuff... I keep waking up at 4 am  unable to go back to bed.. making muffins and breakfast but not eating.  The last two days I have felt horrible.  I nap during the afternoon as night time I am just restless..If I do sleep I am waking up to pain - not sure if they are contractions but my body feels like I am constantly contracting - I have loose stool (sorry TMI) and I am throwing up if I eat. I am not hungry and my lower back is killing me... my upper thighs feel like I ran a marathon... Is this just normal later pregnancy stuff??  I am sorry for sounding silly - but I just want to make sure I am not missing small signs that something could be cooking... Thanks !
Mel

It doesn't sound silly at all.  Every pregnancy is different and believe me, after 6 pregnancies that have made it out of the first trimester I can tell you that each of mine have been different and I've experienced things this time that I didnt' with my previous 5.  I think you really need to stick with your bedrest at this point.  All that you have been doing is giong to aggravate your body and thats the last thing you want.  Good luck.  BTW, the whole ligament pain thing.  Let me tell you I can't even roll over in bed anymore with out pulling something and getting a really sharp pain.  I also CONSTANTLY have a pain on the inside of my left hip.  I had it towards the end of my last preg pretty bad but this time I'm only (almost) 26 weeks and I've already had it for about 2 months.  It's worse when I first get outta bed.  I can only imagine how it will be towards the end...

I have been on bedrest since April 13th - same thing with my previous pregnancies.. Today I am actually happy about it because it is 100 out and I am not in the mood to be in a suit... a sundress it is!

I went to the dr - he told me that I am on bed rest - unless I am cleaning in my bed there is no cleaning to be done.... He said it is just going to get worse as the more pregnancies you have the looser the ligaments are and cause a lot of discomfort and cramps along with contractions that are not progressing  - in conjunction with my preterm labor issues and irritable uterus and blah blah blah.... I am mentally exhausted  and soooo need a nap.  I think I am as irritable right now as my uterus!
Thanks ladies!!!

I agree, those symptoms could be pre-term labor, or you could have worn yourself out. I would call your Dr.

Well you most certainly sound like you are nesting to me! You need to take it easy with all that cleaning! You are going to run yourself down, mentally and physically. If I were you I would talk to my OB about the loose stools and loss of appetite. If you think you are having contractions, then you need to be checked out at L&D. You could very well be in pre-term labor. Looking at your past history, I would not wait to be evulated!

Good luck and hang in there!
