Early Labor??

I'm 34 weeks and have been having a lot of braxton hicks contractions this past week. Sometimes its just a lot of pressure and sometimes it's accompanied by a little pain. My baby has dropped and I've been feeling a lot of pelvic pressure and sometimes slightly painful twinges in my vagina when my baby pushes down. And all day today have been feeling a dull back pain. Are these signs of preterm labor? Should I go ahead and call my Dr?? I'm very worried.

Lol yea it is crazy. I'm glad I was able to find someone who was experiencing the same thing I was though. Let's me know I'm not alone. Thanks ladies! :)

Me too! I went into the doctor's office today because I awoken at midnight to pain after also having contractions. This morning was scary, my baby wasn't moving even after drinking cold water & orange juice. Doc did a non stress test & showed that my little guy is fine, but since he's dropped, his movement is more restricted & my contractions are normal as well. Crazy how all 3 of us experienced almost the same thing at 34 weeks.

I'm so happy to here that because I went in for the same thing in my contractions Was not close. and my cervix was still close too so I was once check for the same thing. I'm glad evey thing went good.

So it showed on the monitor that I was having some contractions but they weren't close enough together or strong enough. And my cervix was closed. The nurse said its common at this time in the pregnancy to be feeling extra crampy and more pelvic pressure. Especially since its my second baby. I'm relieved. I really didn't want to have my little guy this early. No matter how painful, or annoying tthese feelings in my body are lol :)

I have my drs appointment tomorrow but I went ahead a called and told them cause I just feel weird. Now I'm just waiting on them to call back.

I'm in the same situation 34 weeks to and I feel all those symptoms too. I have Appt. On Friday hope I last.
