Fever during Implantation

So I am a few dpo (anywhere from 3 or 4 days to a week at most), which if things went well, I would be around implantation time.  This morning I woke up with a sore throat and as the day has worn on, I feel terrible.  Definately a fever, that achey feeling, sore throat, etc.  I took 1 tylenol as I remember my OB telling me the odd one was ok when I was pregnant before.  I am worried that if I did conceive, having a fever could interfere with implantation or ability to implant, etc. (I guess thats the same thing..).  I have been all over the internet and can't find much on the subject. Does anyone know?  As always, thanks for any input.  Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

What do the abreviations mean? I too have been feeling like I've come down with the flu....achy muscles, fever, tired.....and I have been following the posts above but cannot figure out exactly what the abreviations stand for. Thanks!

I'm personally doubtful that a sore throat and fever have anything to do with implantation.  Sounds just like a sore throat and fever to me!

Tylenol is fine to take during pregnancy.  If you still feel poorly, let your doctor know.

Hope all goes well!

For both my IVF BFP's I have had fevers, night sweats and swollen glands for a few days.  For me, it was a good sign  :)

I cant tell you how many stories I have personally heard from woman who said they felt like they were coming down with the flu, only to find out later they were pregnant .
Personally I am 2 DPO and feel terrible also - some kind of sinus and lung thing.
I am keeping my fingers super crossed for you!

From your lips to God's ears Patty.  If that were the case, I will put up with any cold, fever, whatever the case may be.  Its pretty early (depending on which OPK you believe..lol), but it sounds like yours was too.  Today is only CD18 though, so it's really early.  But we shall see...

Thanks for the sticky baby dust, I can use all I can get!!!

Amanda,

With the pregnancy before Brayden I woke up one day feeling all icky like I was getting the flu, which I thought could possibly be the case since it was mid April. I wasn't even late but was talking to my sister and before she found out she was pregnant she too felt like she was "coming down with something". She talked me into taking a test and it was positive! I was totally shocked!! I had just had my tubal reversal one month exactly from the date I took the test! It was too soon after my surgery for the pregnancy and I ended up losing it.. but my point is.. you could just be feeling it because you could be pregnant! It wouldn't surprise me! I know with Brayden I was a temp taking freak and when I got pregnant with him I ran a fever for a while.. almost like hot flashes at times.. hehe! Don't give up! I am throwing you TONS of sticky baby dust!!
