Hi there,
When I was 31 i was diagnosed with endometriosis, fibroids and polyps. I already had 3 children, (and a tubal reversal) but wanted another. We tried for about 8 months went to a Fertility Doctor & they removed all 3 of my issues, within 3 months I was pregnant! My polyps came back, I had one more prescious baby and since then 2 miscarriages (1 ectopic). We just found out i am pregnant, but I have been bleeding now for almost 2 weeks (am 6w preg) and the baby heart rate 104bpm, sitting very low and no fluid in my sac. :( So it is now a waiting game.. I just thought I would share my story, I am now 38 yrs old so I face many of the same challenges as you, but I definately wanted to tell you plz don't waste anytime..if you dont conceive w/i 6 months head to the fertility specialist! my sister also has endo and she had 1 miscarriage and 2 full term pregnancies..keep your head up! ;)
There is a post in the group TTC over 40 titled "Where are all my woman over 40?" and in that post (which is really long) a woman named Sherri90043 (I think - but it is not hard to miss her post...) writes about things that she has done with TTC and that some of it has assisted her in removing her endo...
I have learned about a number of natural things that women can do to assist in helping with the medical issues around fertility... not leaving out Adgal's suggestion of seeing an RE to get assistance if you have been trying for over 6 months...
Good luck and SSBD ( super sticky baby dust!)
I honestly don't know much about endo. I do know a bit about conceiving in your 40's though. I had my DS at almost 41 and am now pregnant with my second at almost 42. Lost of us here in the same boat.
Endo aside, try to increase your fertile cervical mucus around ovulation time. Cut out or down, anything dehydrating such as caffeine or alcohol. Increase water intake. Try using an Ovulation Predictor Kit to time intercourse properly.
Also, if you have not conceived in 3 to 6 months, it is recommended you see an RE. We live in a day and age where there are so many resources available to us, and the reality is that for some in their 40's a little intervention is required.
Good luck!!
