Maternity Leave
How long have you girls taken off for your maternity leave? I'm 6 months, would love more time but sadly bills need to be paid and a family needs feeding!
Originally 12mths with my first but I fell pregnant again at 10mths so we've extended it to cover rhis baby as well.
With my last pregnancy I took off 12 weeks. I will be taking off 10 weeks with this one and switching from full time to part time. So I will only be working 3 days a week. Daycare expenses (1600.00 a month)are just too crazy. I'd be working just to pay daycare.
I will be able to take about 5 months off by combining all of my sick leave added to our school's summer break.
I wish I could take off more time, but will only be taking 12 weeks, and will have to go back to work.. :(
