Question: Breastfeeding and implants???

I had a breast lift with a very small implant put in about 10 years ago, now that I am unexpectedly pregnant Im very concerned about being able to breastfeed successfully! My implants are over the muscle and was done at the crease under the breast. I have two other children 1 of which I had absolutely no problems nursing, however that was before I got the lift!!! If anyone has experience with this or knows someone I would love to hear what you have to say!!!!! TIA!!!:-)

My friend had implants 2 years ago and is currently nursing her baby. I believe it depends on how the surgery was performed.

I had a breast reduction done and then implants put in 10 years later. I was unable to breastfeed either one of my kids which I was told would happen because the milk ducts don't always line up. you can always try you just never know.

I've had implants for almost 5 years. Since getting them I've had a son who I nursed successfully and I am pregnant again and forsee no problem nursing this one either :) I have mine under the muscle and got 800 cc's. Are you able to express any colostrum from them?

Sometimes women have No trouble breastfeeding and some do have trouble and are unable to nurse. I would think that you would not know for sure until you start producing milk. If you have good flow then you should have no problem.
