Well, I guess just like the labor process, the effect could be different for everyone as well.
I personally haven't had it done but my mom did. She said the pain wasn't bad but has since gine on to have her uterus and right ovary removed. (This is due to the fact my mom had some issues not related to the tubetieing) but now shes very happy and healthy. (My mom also had me young and had a few miscarriages after I was born so she had some issues)
Mmmm...these results scare me. I am having my tubes tied on monday during C-section procedure. I am confused now. I am going to read more about it. My doctor said, they would burn them.
I also had my tubes tied after #2 and have since had a reversal. The recovery from the tubal was fine... I actually only had 1 incision in my bellybutton and never even noticed it.
I noticed less milk production than with my first but never made the connection until I started having other problems like night sweats and anxiety attacks.
Once I had the reversal I felt better almost immediately.
Look up post tubal ligation syndrome before you choose that method since there are so many other options for bc.
I'm pregnant with my third baby I'm thinking about getting my tubes tied I'm sik of dealing with dead beat BDS. But I mite just get on BC and have another child till I'm married.
I had my tubes tied. I have since had my surgery reversed. The recovery is not bad. They make two tiny incisions, one in your belly button and then one right at your hair line. Very tiny! I had some discomfort but nothing I would really call pain. I will say that after my periods were way worse then ever before. My doc claimed there was no relation but I've spoke with several other ladies who had it and they all had worse periods after. Also I'm not sure but I was told they stopped burning them. Best if luck to ya
Girl, google, google, Google lol I research everything, and I get the best info by reading multiple articles/blogs/sites etc. You can never have to much information. Good luck.
