normal period after miscarriage?

We lost the baby at 8 weeks and I physically had a miscarriage almost 3+ weeks later.  When will my cycle return to normal?  Could I get pregnant right away?

I also had mc around 8-22/ 9-2, still waiting for af.  I think everything varies so much.  Been crampy like af is coming for about a week, which is wierd cuz I never had cramps in my life. I also decided to not use any protection, so let me know what goes on with you, we are close to around the same time, it would be interesting to know what goes on.  And Good luck!!

I had a natural miscarriage on 8/23 and I still haven't had a cycle either.  Yesterday, I spotted it was red and today it's slightly pink and still no cycle so I wondering the same because I'm ready to try again as well.  I have had unprotected sex hopefully it's because I pregnant again, but I haven't had any symptoms as before.  Good Luck and if I get any info I'll be sure to inform you.

I had a D&C at 6wk3dys bc of low bhcg on 8/04/07. Stopped bleeding 8/13/07. Still no sign of my period. I have searched the net for answers as to when we can start trying again. The answers are so broad. So we have decided the sooner for us the better. Ovulation does vary, because  a woman's HCG levels falls differently.

After my D and C (the miscarriage didn't happen on its own, though the baby died at 9 and 1/2 weeks), I had a period 23 days later; my doctor told me 4-6 weeks was the usual, but really anything can happen with that first cycle.  My second period was a normal 28 days after that.  You can become pregnant the first cycle, but it's best to use protection and wait until you've had two cycles to make sure the uterine lining will be sufficient to sustain the pregnancy.  You might want to ask your doctor for his/her advice in your particular case.
