pregnancy at 40 :-/
Just found out I'm expecting, really nervous, I'm 39 and have a 13 yr old and 10 year old to a previous relationship. Been with my fiance now for 2 years, worried about being too old :-( xx

I'm 38 and 8 weeks with my 3rd. My good daughters are 19 & 15 (previous marriage). This is my husband's 2) 1st. We have tried for 2 years! Very excited! Congrats to you!
There is always a higher risk for birth defects such as down syndrome at a later age, but chances are, you'll have a healthy, happy baby.
I am 45yrs old and going thru IVF as I write! We initially planned on using a donor egg, but the insurance company insisted on checking my lands before approval. Turns out they were much better than anyone expected. They are apparently in the range of a 37yr old. We decide to go thru IVF using us, as neither my husband or I seem to have anything wrong with us! We are hoping the 3rd time is a charm as we tried one 1/2 yrs ago unsuccessfully.
Our Dr's main concern is genetic abnormality, so we will have our embryos tested before implantation. I have a good feeling about this trial! Fingers and toes crossed! :) Best wishes!

I too have a 13yr old and a 10 yr old from my ex husband and just had my 3rd at 38 years old to my new partner! You can do it!
Too old??? Hon I'm 47 & just found out I'm expecting #4. My other kids are 27, 24 & 19. Talk about starting over. I should be having grandbabies.
I'm 41 and am having my third as well, 10 and 12 year old from first marriage. I was nervous as well but so far so good. Enjoy and congrats!

Congrats! I hav a 3 yr old & preggers with # 2 due in Jan. I will turn 38 soon!! I feel good.
