Are you taking anything for nausea? I started taking ZofranZofran Zofran odt and it has helped a lot with some of the vomiting. I can at least get a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys food down now. I take 1/2 a pill in the morning if I am feeling rough (4 mg) and that usually allows me to eat small meals throughout the day. Before I took that stuff, I was throwing up all day long and couldn't stand the sight or smellSmell - impaired Stools - foul smelling of food.
I still do struggle a bit with appetite. Some days I want to eat like a horseHorse chestnut, and then when I take a bite or two I get sick. I'm 17 weeks and just managed to gain 1.5 lbs so far. I lost initially though, so I've probably gained more than I think.
Ask your doc about the appetite problems and maybe trying Reglan or Zofran to help your tummy?
I eat WAY less than I did before I got pregnant. But doc says Im doing OK and baby is healthy so maybe you might have some "mind over matter issues"? Tough to say....but I would try and eat SOMETHING because as my doc says....no matter what the baby will take from you whatever it needs and you are left with the rest.
