Hi Everyone,
Just wondering if anyone is in the same boat? I'm 37, had an ablation 9 years ago and in July last year (after not having a period for 9 years!) found out that I was pregnant! Being that my youngest is 16 there was a lot of "OMG, YOUR JOKING, #$*#!!!!!" I'm now 30 weeks today, and so far, apart from a lot of emotional times, traumaticAmputation - traumatic Post-traumatic stress disorder times and sleepless nights, all is going great.
Cheers,
:-)

Congratulations! I didn't have an ablation but had an ovary and tumor removed and then had the same surprise at age 38 while my oldest was 18 and youngest was 12. I did go through an emotional rollercoaster.
Thanks guys for your comforting supportSupport Support 500, I'm from bendigo Vic Aus, and there doesn't seem to be any real fantastic forums like this one in australia! Plus I think most people are concentrating on the bush fires we are battling here in victoria, so it's refreshing to know that you guys are there to listen.... :-)
You will be blessed and thankful when that little baby arrives though! What a miracle!
Just wanted to let all you expectant mums out there that have had an ablation and are worried sick.... I carried to 38.5 weeks, had a natural birth, no complications with bubby though he did have the cord that tightly around his neck that we nearly lost him, labour lasted a mear 3 hours!!! However after, as we all expected, I haemmorraged pretty bad and had to be rushed off to surgery... all's good now though, he is nearly 4 months old and a happy healthy little miracle man!!!!!!
