32 weeks and sever itching

help. I'm 32 weeks and have sever itching ALL OVER my whole body for weeks now. I have had my liver and bile tested, and all is normal. Benadryl doesn't help. I have tried lotion with colloidal oatmeal, doesn't help. I have changed to dove sensitive skin soap....switched laundry soap....everything I can think of....nothing helps. It's driving me nuts. I take 2 benadryl and sleepy time tea at night to try to knock myself out to get some sleep. Any other advice would be great appreciated please.

Glad it's not PUPPS! I hear it's terrible! Even though your skin doesn't look dry, it probably is, and stretching makes it itchy. Oatmeal based moisture like Aveeno? They make a bath soak which is nice.

No. It's not PUPPS. My skin is soft, not dry, and no rash...just crazy itching all over. Blood tests are normal.

Thank.you all soooooo much. I will Google Puppy and try the bath.
I can't see putting cortisone cream all over my whole body though.  ( not sure if I mentioned in original post...I have no rash). All advise is welcomed.

I like to soak in one tablespoon coconut oil in my warm bath every other night. (I do use a thermometer to make sure my bath wster stays under 101 degrees for baby girls safety.) It is the only thing that gives me relief when my itching attacks along with lots of water drinking.

I only have the severe itching on my belly, thank God, but it was diagnosed as a rash called PEP (acronym). Its a rash that some pregnant women get in late pregnancy that has no remedy but giving birth. I can't relieve the itch but I can make it less with coconut butter. Its really awful, and I occasionally take benadryl as well to knock out. Sorry for you discomfort, you're not alone. Good luck!

I get really bad itches too!! Mine is dry skin from my thyroid levels getting low I believe. I try and eat some iodine rich foods and also I rub coconut oil into my skin. Helps me a lot.
