38 years old 2nd pregnancy in 2 decades

Took a home pregnancy test two days after my daughter's 19th birthday it came back positive. Took two more cause I could not believe it. Then today (5 days later) finally got into see the doctor and guess what I am pregnant, she figures 5 weeks today. Just a little worried and scared about everything considering my age (I will still be 38 at delivery though). Have not done this in almost 20 years. Actually thought this chapter in my life was over. Oh and did I mention my daughter has a little one, my grandson is 22 months old. How strange is this all going to be? Anyone out there in similar situation? I do not know anyone in day to day life.

I'm 23 weeks. I'll be 39 when I deliver. My children are 22, 19 and 13. They did better than I did at the news of me having a baby. She'll be fine

I am 39yrs old and my two children are 20 and 14. I'm 9 weeks pregnant today. I'm with a new partner and really wanted a baby together but I have been sick all day every day for the past 4 weeks! I'm starting to wonder what the hell I was thinking lol
I had morning sickness with my other two pregnancies but nothing like this.

I am 37 and currently 38 weeks pregnant. I have a 16 year old daughter and a 19 year old son in Heaven. It's been a pretty easy pregnancy, just more tired.  It's a huge adjustment in our lives and things are going to be so different with a baby. My daughter is excited but her worry is she will be a built in baby sitter, but we assured her she won't be. Wishing you the best#

I might be in the same situtation as you. I am 34 and my daughter will be 20 in Feb. She was my only pregnancy. I'm pretty sure I am pregnant but have not taken a HPT yet because I'm not late on my period yet. The reason I think I am is because my boyfriend wants a baby so bad that the last few time during sex he did not pull out and I was at my most fertile time. I am experiencing cramping way before my period is due and this is not normal for me because I only cramp the day of my period. I am also experiencing discharge and have been reading about these symptoms and they all could be that I am pregnant. But anyway I'm not sure how my daughter will take it if I am. I'm pretty sure she will be a great babysitter.

My last pregnancy was when I was 37 and I turned 38 the same month I had her, but the difference between you and I is it was tenth baby. She is now 8 months old. She'll be 9 months on thanksgiving day. My two oldest are 20 and 19 and they are moved out. I have 8 at home. My daughter just turned 18 three days ago.
