42 yearsold. 12.7 FSH and .34 AMH - Is it possible to get pregnant now?

I just found out that my numbers do not look promising.
FSH - 12.7
AMH - .34
Estradoil was normal.

I'm 42 years old and had a miscarriage a year ago (I also have 13 year old).  Is there any hope for me to have a baby?  I took 100mg Clomid last month before I found out my test results.  It didn't work.  My next plan is IUI.  BUt my doctor said IVF is not an option.  She doesn' want to waste my money.  And the probability of me getting pregnant is 5%.  So dismal!  My regular doctor said that it's posssible and she started me on fertility acupuncture.  I'm so sad if it's true that my success probability is slim to none.  Any success stories out there?

with the suppliments that I have told you, just buy them and take at recomended doseage, an excellent site to jump on to have a look is www.natural-fertility-info.  com, you may want to start with a fertility cleanse and then work from there :) good luck :)  oh and if you decide to take the dhea I dont think you will be able to take the maca at the same time, I would personally take the maca for a couple of months then switch to the dhea for the 3 months then go back to the maca, hopefully you will be pregnant by then :)

your lucky you can get it like that, in australia dhea is banned and we can only get it through a re who has applied to use it, then we have to go to a compund chemist who makes it up for our script, wish it was easy to get it for us :/

Also read on another forum other ladies were having success with 25 mg of dhea 3x daily to bring up amh and lower fsh.  May want to ad it in there too.  Good luck.

ok :) all of these are natural suppliments and can be brought at a health food shop.Vitex can  be as tablets, liquid or powder. Royal jelly, fish oil, coq10, evening primrose are all capsuals. Spirulina can be bought as pills or powder, as with maca it can be an aquired taste, so maybe try the pills first, maca is either capsuals or powder. Most people go with the caps. You will need to be on these suppliments for a minimum of 3 months as thats how long it takes  for your eggs to develop. Some ladies find that their fsh drops quite quickly with the vitx, others need to be on it for a good 6 months. The thing is not to give up and keep taking them :) also make sure you stop alcohol, smoking and limit your caffine intake to 1 coffee per day. Get yourself on a good pre-conception prenatal or prenatal vitamin as well, cut out highly processed, sugary foods add wholegrains to your diet and add organic dairy as well :)

thank you for your response.  I am so new to this fertility thing - I have no idea what all those things are.  Are they all pills?  Do you get them at a natural whole foods store?

listen to your regular doctor, of course you can get pregnant but it will take abit more time and alot more effort, you should keep up with the acupuncture for at least 3 months, also taking vitex will lower your fsh levels along with spirulina, for egg health you should start taking royal jelly, fish oil with dha, coq10, for general health and egg health, maca and either spirulina of vital greens, for cervical mucus, evening primrose oil from c/d 1 until ovulation, then swap to flax seed oil, also check out this web site www.natural-fertility-info. com (spaced out so it wont get xx out)
