You're in the waiting game - it sounds like your pregnancy's progressing but w/out seeing everything it's hard to gauge if it's viable or not. Knowing that the gestationalGestational diabetes Gestational trophoblastic disease sac/yolk are growing are very good signs - stay optimistic! - jen
I agree totally with Jen. The heartbeatHeart palpitations Ultrasound, normal fetus - heartbeat Ultrasound, ventricular septal defect - heartbeat starts anywhere from 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 weeks. My new OB doesn't like to do them either until 8 weeks. I just had one early primarily for dating purposes. We didn't know how far along I was. I have met womenWomen's way here who saw the hb at 5 1/2 weeks, others not until 7 weeks. The fact that there was appropriate growth between ultrasounds is a good sign. With my losses, not only was there no heartbeat, but the growth in between was not the appropriate amount. The waiting is the hardest part, I know. Hang in there and try to stay really busy for the next week. I wish you all the best.
