Yep at 6 weeks same thing happened to me after an ultrasound. It CAN happen after an ultrasound (an sex).  You'll be OK!

yes, i had a vaginal ultrasound.  She couldnt find my left ovary, so she was was really digging in.  The discharge got a little heavier but stop right after.  I called her this morning, she said the cervix is sensitive and most of the discharge was dark brown. im also using suppositiories...its my first pregnancy and everything is soooo nerve racking...thank you ladies...

Did you have a vaginal ultrasound? If not, then I doubt the spotting was a result of the u/s.

The cervix is pretty sensitive in pregnancy, the wand could have bumped it and caused a little bleeding.  I wouldn't be concerned unless, of course, it continues or gets heavier.

I agree, it could be implantation bleeding although a little late for that, but more likely than not it is discharge caused from the ultrasound machine pushing and twirling inside of you.  Just monitor the situation and if it gets any worse, do call your doctor.  It doesn't really sound like anything to be too concerned about.  Good luck!

IT sounds like implanting discharge although you are 6 weeks pregnant..just keep an eye on it but if they says its ok. Then try not to worry. It may also be from vaginal inserts if they are being used???
