6wks pregnant/ 40 yrs old and have a lot of gas.

I am noticing a pain on the right side, sometimes close to my right ovary. It's not too painful but concerning. Thought I find I do have a lot of gas as well. Is this normal?

Aches and pains along with cramps are very normal throughout pregnancy.  Gas is also an extremely common symptom.  You should mention the pain at your next OB appointment though - they can check for a cyst.  If the pain increases, give them a call.  Congrats on your pregnancy!
