A BFN 11dpo i feel so sad....

Well well what can is say? I got a BFN after i tested this evening. i was so anxious so i tested even as i had to force the wee out cos i had urinated like an hour before testing.

I am so sad cos for christ sake i had all the possble symptoms like bloating, metallic mouth, frequent urination (for 1 day), slight cramps since 5dpo heavy bbs. these have never happened to me before thats why i thot strongly i was pregnant.  cos  for the first time i used an ovulation kit for this cycle so i was just so sure . or is it becos i have occupied myself so much with pregnancy write ups and all the facts, signs and feebles about it??

i indeed feel so sad . My period is not due till monday the 8th of june. i really thot this first response will tell me the real truth and i guess it has cos its supposed to detect 5 days early rite? Now i guess i have to start building my hope again . its so difficult my God!

I just pray for Gods strenght thru this period of TTC .

agree you have to have lots of urine built up and day 12 might make all the difference. good luck.

Jen said everything I would say.  Using FMU is the best way to go.  If you had just gone an hour before, your urine would not likely be concentrated enough to pick up HCG that early.  I have had a negative in the evening, but a positive with FMU.  I wouldn't be ready to give up yet either.  Good luck, hope it's a BFP.

Listen, you can read on the box of FRER that it CAN pick up the hcg 5 days before AF, but it's not a guarantee.  The closer you are to AF, the more accurate the test will be.  It will also be more accurate w/FMU (first morning urine).

I think you should test on Sunday morning w/FMU before giving up.  Don't rely on symptoms - they're highly inaccurate since they also resembe PMS or the kind o symptoms you get before AF.

I don't know how old you are so I can't comment on fertility but don't give up until AF arriveds.  Many women don't get their BFP's until 14 dpo or later especially if the embryo implanted late.  I never test until the day of or a couple of days after AF is due.  Keep us posted and test again on Sunday w/FMU! - jen
