Abdominal pains

Good Morning Ladies,
I am 38 and according to the pregnancy calculator around 5wks, I see the doctor on Monday.   I am having cramping in my abdomen and its light to medium but there is no spotting.   I am curious if anyone else is having or had these kind of pains.  This is my 2nd pregnancy but my first one was over 20 yrs ago.  I am nervous and unsure what is going on, and I know that I have the tender breast and I am exhausted those are normal from things I read on here.  Just not sure of the pains/cramping.

Thanks Ladies!!!

I had cramping with the first two, cramping and a little spotting this time. That was one way I knew something was going on and that I was pregnant bc I never get cramps! Lol!

I had cramping and no bleeding until I was like 3-4 months pregnant...I think you will be fine as long as there is no bleeding. Make sure you address the issue with hour Dr.

It is probably the embryo implanting, and could be your uterus stretching too.  Congrats!!

I had ivf and I had that after embryo was put in, the doctors warn you about it and its called implanting cramps, most don't notice it because they don't know that they are pregnant yet but it can be painful like period pain, Congratulations, and good luck !

I had that with this pregnancy.  I thought I was going to get my period.  I had cramps and my breasts hurt like my pms symptoms for a long time. When I didn't get my period after a week and a half of it, I took a test.  I am now 32 weeks.

Cramping is completely normal. It was a common occurrence throughout my entire 1st trimester (I also spotted the first several weeks too). My doctor just said it was the uterus stretching to accommodate the growing baby.
