Yes, just had one done this morning. Very painful, but so far has been successful. I'm 39-1 weeks. Hopefully he stays head down now!

I have had three children and the last two presented breach around the 8th month of pregnancy.  I had a version with my daughter at 36wks (at the time she was 8lbs., weighed 10lb 9oz at birth) and it was successful.  Went on to have vaginal delivery without complications.  Three years later, my son also presented breach around 37wks and I had another successful version.  The first Dr. was by far more experienced and delicate with the procedure than my son's Dr..  Both of the experiences were painful but tolerable and I'm thankful I was able to deliver naturally.  My sisters son was breach, opted out of the version and she ended up needing a C-section.  Ask your Dr. what they recommend.  Remember, the goal is a healthy baby, not an easy delivery :)  All the best!

Yes, twice with my first two children, now expecting my 7th. It was extremely painful and the doctor wasn't successful in keeping my babies in a head down position. It has about a 58% chance success rate. But since every pregnancy and baby are different, the possibility still stands that having them physically turn your baby may be very successful. Talk to your doctor, ask how successful the procedure is and if the benefits outweigh the risks (such as horrible pain). Best of wishes!!
