I have pcos too and clomid thinned my lining. I did injectables a ton... like many amps it is hard for me to remember because it has been 5 years... but I got pg the 2 round... cost me 5000 and that was with insurance paying half!!! I had 3 follicles when I pg... but after dd I lost 100lbs and my period came back regular... and I got pg 2 times without any problems...
I got pregnant on my first cycle and used femara for cd3-5 I was to take till cd 7 but it gave me bad headaches!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont know if it helped but we were pregnant!!
I just finished my second round of femara (no injections except hcg) first round was 2.5mg currently on 2.5mg twice a day,hcg trigger, and iui. first round I had one nice follicle around 20mm+ on day 11. This cycle I was expecting to get at least two good follicles by day 11 guess what? Day 12 I had 10 follicles (5 on each side RT(2) 18mm, 17mm, 16mm 14mm' ((LT (1) 18mm, (2)17mm, 16mm, 14mm WOW!) Not expecting that! I Know from experience that the more follicles I have the less likely I am to get pregnant as no one egg gets proper nutrition. As you can tell i'm pretty bummed out already I thought femara was supposed to make pcos have less follilces than clomid but better quality.Anyway sorry I couldn't help much just wanted to share my experince in case you wanted to know youre not alone no matter how alone we might feel at times. Good luck and baby dust to everyone.
