Anyone tried Femara?

Has anyone here taken Femara? I took my 1st dose yesterday.

I've done two cycles of Femara..lots of follicles but no pregnancy.  I have ovarian cysts too. I am starting injectables in April.

For some reason it's not legal in Canada.  I would love to try it as clomid wasn't a success for me and I have heard women getting good results with Femara.  Good luck!

Hi - After 3 rounds of Clomid and 1 round of Femara without a pregnancy, my RE started me on an IUI cycle of injectables (Follistim and Ovidrel). I am currently in my 2WW.

I did find that the side effects of Femara were far less severe than the Clomid and, unlike Clomid, Femara does not affect your CM or thin out your uterine lining.

I did femara with injectibles, worked first shot and I just had my baby girl feb 21st.  Good luck.

Im on my 3rd round of femara, I had Ovarian Drilling back in Oct and they put me on the femara right away and have Ov since but no BFP as of yet. It works way better then the clomid I was on it 6 cycles and nothing not one O. Femara has no side effects and helps your linning and makes great eggs. best of luck and tons of Baby dust.

I tried it for the first time in December, and it worked like a charm!  (I'm due in September).  Fingers crossed that it works as well for you, too!

Hi, I tried Femara 2.5 mg.. CD 3-7 had my surge on CD14  BD on CD 15-16.. but no success for us .. I did just call RE and ask to be put on higher dose CD 5-10 .. Maybe that will work for me... I did have severe headache for 3 days.. then they went away..  I hope you get  your BFP..... Im 42 soo maybe thats why its not working for me.....?  Mary..:) God Bless...
