BFN, BFP, then BFN again?????

This is a new one for me. 10 DPO at 7am I had a BFN. By the time I got home from work, I had the ghost line (I think that's what you call it). So I tested again 11 DPO at 4am (had to catch a plane) and got a faint BFP (slightly darker than the ghost line that took all day to appear, only this time I showed a line within minutes). So I took another test this morning and now it's barley visible, almost as faint as the ghost line. I was on a plane to England over night, but I did wait 24 hours to test. Anyway I am very confused. Everything I tried to eat the last 2 days put me off. I could not eat my favorite yogurt, passed on french fries at lunch, etc. Same today. Sore BBs too which I did not have my entire life until my last cycle. Could the Gonal F be affecting me?

Yes keep us posted!  Thats very exciting!!!  I don't know if you will be able to do this or not but, IF you DO get a BFP TRY & find a Dr their in England to get a little cover for your belly for the flight home.  (like the ones they have in the dentist offices) It might be a bit costly but WELL worth it!  I bet an RE might have them.  Spending that many hours on a flight is not very good in early pregnancy.....not too scare you, I'm just speaking from personal experience :)

Hey there!  This is how I interpret it in my unscientific mind: you can discount the test that you did on 10DPO, as the results are rendered false after after 10 minutes. But it could have been too early for hcg to be detected.  The fact that you saw a line in the next day and the next..tells me that it's a BFP!  The strength of that second line is not supposed to matter: and if you've been on a plane for part of those 24 hours, chances are your urine was diluted...

If you waited all day and got a ghost line, chances are that's a BFN.  An evaporation line can occur if the test is not read within the required minutes.  

I would do the same as the others have suggested - take it w/FMU.  By 14dpo, you should get a definitive answer.  Best of luck!

Are you going to test tomorrow?  Or are you going to give it another day?  Also, did you got to England for business or was it vacation?

Also, not only can different brands be more sensitive, but so can two tests from the same box.  It might just be so early and one of the tests was more sensitive then the others.  I am anxiously awaiting the next test results!

being that you are so early in your cycle, perhaps the second ghost line was just because you had more diluted urine or something!  it sound promising to me!!

Well it is still early in your cycle! Seeing a line at this point is a good sign! Hopefully the real deal is just around the corner!!!!!
