Baby Measurements??

Well i had my scan wednesday (at 19 weeks 2 days - EDD 25th August) and was having a look thru my notes yesterday and my baby girl is measuring 175.2mm (17.5cm)

After looking over my baby books i figured the average size of a 20 week baby is 15cm.

My friend Stacy is having a boy and is due the day after me (26th August) and had her scan the day before me, but her little boy is measuring 159.0mm (15.9cm)

My doc measured me at 2-3 weeks further along when i saw him a couple of weeks back but the sonographer said that new measurements wouldnt change my EDD.

Im just wondering if 17.52cm is on the large size for 19 and a half weeks???

And does this mean she might be due a little earlier as suspected??????

Hi! I don't really have an answer for you but I'm going through something similar.  I went to my 30 week doctors appointment  on Tuesday and the doc told me that I measure 34 weeks..that's 4 weeks ahead!  And she also told me that at my last appoinment 1 month earlier, I was measuring 3 weeks ahead..so it's consistent. I've got an ultrasound scheduled on the 15th to know what exactly is going on..  Is the baby just big, do I have more amniotic fluid...or am I ahead in the pregnancy..?  Maybe he's just a big boy!  We'll see!

I think she may be a little further along, perhaps shes just a big girl. I guess i cant do much apart from wait..........

Seeing her little face was amazing (even though she looks a little alien like lol!!!)

Quite tempted to go for the 4d scan now - dunno if i can handle not seeing her until august xx

I don't really know.. all I can say is all the measurements can be so different. When my AFP tests come back positive and I had to have the level ll ultrasound done I actually had regular ultrasound scheduled the same day at my OB's office too. Both measurements were different! You can look at my pics.. Both were done on Jan 8th.. I was 22 weeks 1 day, one measured 14.0 cm and the other measured 15.4. Now.. if you are measuring 17.52 and are 19w2d then I have no clue what that means. Could be that you are further along..... but like with me.. both measurements on the same day were off.. so it could mean anything I would think..
