Belly Band?

I thought it was for supporting your bigger heavier belly to ease the discomfort?  But now that I've seen one in a store, I see they are just for keeping your unbuttoned pants up during early pregnancy?  Was I thinking of something else?  Is there a product out there for tummy support?

They really do work & helps a lot...I have a lot of fluids & I suffer from back pain & leg pain...I can't walk around without the help of this maternity support belt otherwise I can't be walking at all :(
it does support the belly coz we don't have enough muscle to support the uterus...I used this for all my pregnancy now I'm in my 3rd  hope this helps good luck:)

My doc is referring me to a medical store to be fitted for one and he said insurance should pay for it I have bcbs

I've been told by other moms they got theirs at Kohl's, Target,  Babies R Us, or Walmart.  I was also advised to check with your OBAMA because some insurances cover the cost. :)

For tummy support while pregnant i believe your referring to like a maternity belt. I'll be needing one pretty soon myself. As far as the belly bands those  are to wear your pre - pregnancy jeans more comfortably. They can offer a bit of support but not a whole lot. I hope this helps,  ;)
